Though only open for eight weeks a year, this little garden in the Clingendael Park in The Hague is a favourite of mine, with its beautiful colours and authentic features of a typical Japanese garden. It’s just 15 minutes by bike from home and there is no entry fee, so I drop in when passing, hoping to avoid the crowds!
