I am Sjoukje Oostindie, founder of A Dutch Experience, a boutique travel concept dedicated to revealing the Netherlands at its most intimate, authentic, and refined.
Shaped by my roots in a small northern village, my years in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, and my home today in Hilversum, I’ve come to understand the Netherlands not as a single destination but as a mosaic of cultures, landscapes, and creators. It is this layered, quietly extraordinary country that I curate for discerning travelers.
A Dutch Experience is built on a simple principle: true luxury lies in depth, not excess. I work exclusively with local hosts whose craft, knowledge, and passions reflect the soul of their region.
